Learning through literature
Living Books Curriculum offers homeschooling parents curriculum packages and materials based on the educational philosophy of Charlotte Mason. Using high-quality literature and real-life experiences, Living Books Curriculum emphasizes oral expression to promote literacy and learning. Our curricula exceed national standards and honor children as people with unique gifts and talents. Living Books Curriculum provides instruction in the traditional subjects such as history, language arts, and science and incorporates classic literature, nature studies, narration, storytelling, and the use of local resources to enhance the educational experience.
User-friendly Curricula
Living Books Curriculum currently offers complete curriculum packages for Foundation Year (kindergarten), Grade One, Grade Two, Grade Three, Grade Four, Grade Five and Grade Six. Grades Seven and Eight are slated for publication over the next two years. Living Books Curriculum also offers stand-alone study guides for Astronomy, Michigan History, and the Middle Ages. These study guides are designed for multi-age and multi-grade use. Additional study guides in science, American history, and world history are forthcoming.

"… as a first year homeschooling mom I am daily grateful for your 'curriculum'. I am completely for the living books approach, but I know it would be difficult for me to cover the amount of material or harmonize subjects as beautifully as your program does. My daughter is growing in the 'science of relations' every day. I have three boys and one baby on the way, so expect orders from us in the future! Thank you!" — Heather Underwood
